I explore the barrier between our internal and external world. Our thoughts and feelings take
place on the inside, the world is outside. In order to connect those two, there is a necessity to
transcend the barrier.

This barrier is an obstacle and a filter at the same time. So, translated quite literally, it takes
form as skin and often hands - the tools we use to touch and communicate.
I can feel truly in love when observing gestures, movement and touch of those who suround
me. What I mean is, in terms of experiencing physical touch, the way we communicate
through body language, expressing emotions with glances and gestures; it’s like poetry
without words. These (inter)human expressions show small pieces of who we truly are.
